About
Rumbi is an multimedia artist, writer and educator with an interest in other mediums such as animation, set design and textiles. As an illustrator she works across children’s publishing, editorial publications, arts in health and comics. Recently she has been developing her socially engaged practice with community-led co-creation projects for schools, hospitals and community centres. work across medium and themes of identity and hidden histories, teaching drawing, painting, creative writing, music, animation and zine making.
Rumbi is currently working on a new body of work that combines her sculptural, textiles and illustration practice with her research into nature, storytelling and well being
